Did you see this breaking news ACORN’s Illegal Alien Home-Loan Racket uh oh should La Raza be investigated to?

By: admin
Published: January 31st, 2010

There’s one thing more shocking than the illegal alien smuggling advice that an ACORN official in San Diego gave undercover journalists James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles. It’s the illegal alien home-loan racket that ACORN has already been operating with the full knowledge of the U.S. government. On Wednesday, O’Keefe and Giles published the fifth in a series of BigGovernment.com sting videos. ACORN official Juan Carlos Vera coached the pimp-and-prostitute-posing pair on how best to pull off a border-busting smuggling operation. It would be “better from Tijuana,” he counseled on videotape. Vera then generously offered the investigative couple his Mexican “contacts” to bring 12 illegal alien girls into the country for prostitution.

GOP California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger now wants an investigation. But neither the Terminator nor any other California public official raised a peep when the very same San Diego ACORN office publicly announced a partnership with Citibank to secure home loans for illegal aliens.

In 2005, Citibank and ACORN Housing Corporation — which received tens of millions of tax dollars under the Bush administration alone — began recruiting Mexican illegal aliens for a lucrative program offering loans with below-market interest rates, down-payment assistance and no mortgage insurance requirements. Instead of the Social Security numbers required of law-abiding citizens, the program allows illegal alien applicants to supply loosely monitored tax identification numbers issued by the IRS.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reported that “undocumented residents” make up a vast market representing a potential sum of “$44 billion in mortgages.” Citibank enlarged its portfolio of subprime and other risky loans. ACORN enlarged its membership rolls. The program now operates in Miami; New York City; Jersey City, N.J.; Baltimore; Washington, D.C.; Chicago; Bridgeport, Conn.; and at all of ACORN Housing’s 12 California offices.

San Diego ACORN officials advised illegal alien recruits that their bank partners would take applicants who had little or no credit, or even “nontraditional records of credit, such as utility payments and documentation of private loan payments.”
The risk the banks bear is the price they pay to keep ACORN protesters and Hispanic lobbyists from the National Council of La Raza screaming about “predatory lending” off their backs. These professional grievance-mongers have turned the 1977 Community Reinvestment Act — which forced lenders to sacrifice underwriting standards for “diversity” — into lucrative “business” opportunities. Or rather, politically correct blackmail.

Of course LaRaza should be investigated. They are also corrupt!

LaRaza helped write the pork spending bill. They are a racist group.

How can I get daily manchester evening newspaper?

Published: January 31st, 2010

Hi,

I am new to Manchester, just wondering where can I get the newspaper apart from going to city center every day?

I quite like the local news called City Life.

Thanks for your information.

Talk to your local newsagent, they should be able to arrange a subscription. However, I’m afraid it will cost – it’s only free if you get it in city centre.

What is the difference between National and Local News?

By: admin
Published: January 31st, 2010

Im doing a project and I don’t really know the difference between National and Local news. I mean in the country itself. My country is Belize. Could you give me some examples. They don’t have to be real.

A local story only affects people in a small area and only a few at that, an empty warehouse collapsing from old damage in San Diego, wouldn’t get much note even in San Diego. Same warehouse full of stuff and workmen collapses from a design flaw used in 500 other warehouses, national news, possibly even international.

More people are affected even if the other warehouses aren’t outside SanDiego, and this could impact the whole shipping and storage industry in Southern California.

Get the Money You Need for College With Federal Pell Grants

By: admin
Published: January 30th, 2010

If you have done a great job with your college education and are looking to help pay off your education then you should put your past successes in college to your advantage. The best students are ones that shouldn’t have to pay as much for their college educations. If you are looking for money for your college expenses then you should look into Federal Pell grants.

Federal Pell grants are supported by more than five thousand schools in the country. If you have completed college and you have too many loans to take care of then you should consider looking for Federal Pell grants. If you are already attending college then you should also look into Federal Pell grants to see if they will work for you.

Federal Pell grants are especially popular, so the government will work to screen all applicants to see that they are qualified to take Federal Pell grants to pay off their college expenses. This is generally done for security purposes for the grant program. Even if your income is low you can still get one of the Federal Pell grants that are offered. This is because the government is especially committed to giving students the money that they deserve to get.

The amount of money that Federal Pell grants give to students is based on a few factors. The academic successes of the student is the most important factor for Federal Pell grants. Those with better grades are more likely to earn more money. Family contributions to the student’s education is another of the important factors, and the length of education and the full time or part time status of the student are among the most important factors for Federal Pell grants.

One of the best things of Federal Pell grants is that they are not limited to one individual school that the student owes money to. If you have been well screened and continue to have the need for financial aid then you will be able to get the money that you need for all of the schools you have attended or are attending.

If you are living independently then the determination for your Federal Pell grants will be different. Your needs will be based on financial needs and the degree you are getting, but your income sources and your parents’ contributions will be important factors too.

Your Student Aid Report, which you will get after you apply for a Federal Pell grant, will state if you can get any of the money that you need. This includes info on how much you will be eligible to receive.

A Federal Pell grant is a great option for funding your college expenses. Be sure to consult with the financial aid office at your school for additional information on Federal Pell grants, and remember to check if your schools of interest support these grants.

Maramures – A Travel Guide To Romania ’s Region Of Wooden Churches

By: admin
Published: January 30th, 2010

There are many regions in this world that are worth a visit, and very often we Europeans tend to travel overseas to see something exotic, or visit people who still lead a life that perhaps our grandfathers knew. Rarely it occurs to us that it is not always necessary to travel far to be able to experience “time travel”.

Maramures in northern Romania is one such little known corner of Europe. Amid beautiful rolling hills and lush river valleys live people who for the most part still follow the traditional agrarian way of life. Their life might seem hard and simple and it is a millenarian fight against the weather, to grow the crops, to raise the animals, to work from dawn until sunset without the many mechanized and electronic comforts we think are essential. But, that life can be rewarding in all its simplicity, as each day shows the results of work, and family and friends guarantee that there are often reasons for celebration. The seasonal festivities, like Christmas and Easter or local festivals and weddings, have retained their real value of breaking the everyday routine, and feasting lasts several days and is done with gusto.

Why is the region considered unique and those who have been there want to return? The answer is a mixture of three things: amazing landscapes, genuine people and the simple civilization of wood, with the famous wooden churches whose towers can be seen from far. The nature, people, houses and churches are spiritually connected and have maintained this link to the present.

But most of all is the uniqueness of the architecture is the inclusion of eight wooden churches in UNESCO’s World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. These churches are the church of the Presentation of the Virgin at the Temple in Barsana, the church of Saint Nicholas in Budesti, the church of Saint Parasceva in Desesti, the church of the Birth of the Holy Virgin in Ieud Deal, the church of the Holy Archangels in Plopis, the church of Saint Parasceva in Poienile Izei, the church of the Holy Archangels in Rogoz, and the church of the Holy Archangels in Surdesti.

Our guidebook: Maramures – A Travel Guide to Romania ’s Region of Wooden Churches is an excellent full-color book on a wide variety of cultural heritage subjects from mural paintings and archaeology to architecture and local traditions. It also gives practical information and tips on travel to and in Romania, what to see, where to stay, what to buy and to eat, to get the most of Maramures.

Why a guidebook and not another type of book? Because we consider that a cultural guidebook addresses those who, while enjoying a memorable holiday, can also help such a special region develop and maintain its specificity and character. To assure the preservation regions like Maramures, it is necessary that they do not fall into total oblivion. It is necessary that the young people can remain, find work and live there with their families, while being at the same time aware of the importance of their inheritance. Cultural tourism can be a mutual investment that can bear fruit for everyone. The visitor’s joy and the host’s joy are both real experiences.

We hope that you will enjoy your travel to Maramures!

ODS Patriot News America placed under international police state!!!!!!

Youtube Video:

December 17, 2009, The White House released an Executive Order “Amending Executive Order 12425.” It grants INTERPOL (International Criminal Police Organization) a new level of full diplomatic immunity afforded to foreign embassies and select other “International Organizations” as set forth in the United States International Organizations Immunities Act of 1945. By removing language from President Reagan’s 1983 Executive Order 12425, this international law enforcement body now operates – now operates – on American soil beyond the reach of our own top law enforcement arm, the FBI, and is immune from Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

What, exactly does this mean? It means that INTERPOL now has the full authority to conduct investigations and other law enforcement activities on U.S. soil, with full immunity from U.S. laws such as the Freedom of Information Act and with complete independence from oversight from the FBI.

In short, a global law enforcement entity now has full law-enforcement authority in the U.S. without any check on its power afforded by U.S. law and U.S. law enforcement agencies.

Why would we elevate an international police force above American law? Why would we immunize an international police force from the limitations that constrain the FBI and other American law-enforcement agencies? Why is it suddenly necessary to have, within the Justice Department, a repository for stashing government files which, therefore, will be beyond the ability of Congress, American law-enforcement, the media, and the American people to scrutinize?

At least one answer to these questions is very clear. A coup is underway in the United States of America, the goal of which is to establish complete, unquestioned authority over the citizens–a ‘fundamental change’ to the United States where citizens have no legal recourse against an authoritarian central government.
